Location

Located 16 miles from Yarmouth Nova Scotia in the small community of Quinan,is where you will find Spring-Haven Canoe Outfitting. Yarmouth is in the South Western part of the province of Nova Scotia. One of the four maritime provinces on the Atlantic coast of Canada.

Yarmouth is the port of call for the world famous InCat High Speed Ferry. The CAT, a high speed ferry which sails to Portland and Bar Harbor Maine and is run by Bay Ferries. This ferry does the 100 mile crossing to Bar Harbor Maine in about 2 and a fourty five minutes. Reservations can be made at 1-888-249-SAIL (7245). You can get to Yarmouth from Halifax via one of two shuttle services. Campbell's Shuttle Service: Toll Free 1-800-742-6101, Cloud Nine Shuttle: Toll free 1-888-805-3335.

From Halifax, on highway 103, take exit #33 at Tusket. Turn right on route 308 north to Quinan which is 9 miles in along a winding road. From Yarmouth on highway 103, take exit #33 and turn left. Just when you think
no-one possibly lives this far in the woods you will come to the small communities of Spring-Haven and then Quinan. Only 6 miles inland from the coast as the crow flies it is still a secluded spot with few travelers.
